My First Market in Kamloops BC

My first market was a whirlwind, I was so excited that I barely slept the night before. In the morning I loaded up my vehicle and headed out to Valley Markets. It was slower than other markets I had been to as a customer, but it‘s new and I wanted to try something different.

The sun was shining and I felt hopeful for a good turn out. That is exactly what I received! I sold around fifteen products my first day, I felt so accomplished. I kept going to Valley Markets and it was always a great atmosphere. I met some other small business owners along the way and love the community that I am now apart of. Interacting with customers was fantastic and gave great insight into what people really liked.

Valley Markets has a diverse offering of different businesses and is a really great market that is still trying to get off the ground. If your in the Kamloops BC area check them out every Sunday from 10am-2pm at McDonald Park.

All in all my first market was an amazing experience. I sold products, met new people and enjoyed a nice sunshiney day. If you’re weary about doing your first market, don’t be! It may seem daunting at first, but once you get there it’s an amazing experience.
